Global Food is a supermarket chain which specializes in selling Korean and other international food. The first store opened on May 30, 2002, in Manassas, VA. The second store opened on August 29, 2003, in Woodbridge, VA. The Third store opened on November 24, 2009 in Ashburn, VA and the fourth store opened in Montgomery Village, MD on November 23, 2010. The Alexandria store is 35,000 square feet, specializing in African, European, Indian, Asian, and American food. The Alexandria store will be a large international food market which will have many specialized products and will employ locally. This branch will be a community partner. |

There are many different foods from a variety of countries such as Korean, American, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Central American, and South American. The Manassas store is the largest Latino food store in the area. There are a variety of shops inside the Manassas store such as a gift shop, a women' dress shop, a Latino music shop, a jeweler, and a Spanish restaurant.
The Woodbridge store which is 56,300 square feet is the largest international supermarket in the area. There are many different foods from a variety of countries such as Korean, American, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Central American, South American, Middle Eastern, and African. This store is designed for customers to have a great and convenient shopping experience. There is a Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish restaurant, a Korean video shop, a bakery, a women' clothes shop, a flower shop, a coffee shop, a cell phone shop, a jewelry shop, a gift shop, a mortgage company in the market.
The Ashburn store is approximately 60,000 square feet and would be the first and largest international food store in Ashburn. The store is near the Dulles International Airport and customers can easily get to the store from the route 28, 7, and 15. There are many different foods from a variety of countries such as Korean, American, Latino, Japanese, East Asian, and Middle Eastern. There are a variety of shops inside the Ashburn store such as a Korean, Chinese, and Japanese restaurant, a bakery, a flower shop, a jewelry shop, a gift shop, a cosmetic shop, and a hair salon.
The Montgomery Village store is approximately 25,000 square feet and the store sells Indian, Middle East, Asian, Latino, and American food. The store would be the largest Indian and Middle East food store in the area.
